Shifting career from Finance to Logistics

I am a graduate in Economics, and am looking for shifting my career from Finance to Logistics. And the reason being, nowadays, the demand of logistics is very high. I have one year experience in Financial Research. Please suggest me that whether, i am taking the right step or not.
