Forum Description: Thousands of years ago, there was a great war. The supernatural creatures of the world wanted equality between themselves and the humans, but the humans didn't want to share the daylight or the night with anyone who was stronger and faster than they were. Because of the human greed, the war broke out and many people died. In the end, all the leaders of the great clans got together and decided to set up rules and bury the war in the history books, make it as if it had never existed.
The humans were to act as if there were no such things as vampires and lycanthropes, witches and dragons. They were to become fairy tales told to children, and nothing more. The supernaturals were to set up rules that would allow their numbers to remain low so that they could never, ever overpower the humans. The supernaturals were to remain amongst their respective clans, never intermingling. If such an action was to happen, it was an automatic death sentence to both parties involved.
For over five thousand years, this was how things went. Humans were oblivious to the dark goings on around them and the Clans remained isolated from each other. But then a few revolutionaries decided that it was pointless for the Clans to remain separate from each other if they couldn't get near the humans. So they began to meet with other members of other clans. Hundreds were killed because of the indiscretion, but they planted a seed into the minds of all the supernaturals around them.
Another thousand years passed and intermingling was finally allowed, though in small doses and only with permission of kings and queens. But what if the humans find out? Do the humans still know that vampires and witches and lycanthropes and their kind still exist? With the treaty on the verge of breaking, it is possible that war is going to break out, but that's only if the kings and queens of the clans realize the potential of getting together? Are there any out there smart enough? Or would that be stupid enough?
